Just Drift 'Top Drift 2017' Rd.1
Top Drift is a drift event organized by JustDrift and held annually at the Willow Springs International Motorsports Park in Rosamond, CA. Top Drift consists of a series of rounds throughout the year on different tracks throughout the motorsports park. Round one took place on May 25th-26th on the Balcony Autocross & Skid Pad with the practice day on the 25th and the competition happening the day after. Top Drift has been my only drift event that I've had the pleasure of photographing and have only attended round two last year and round one of this year. I hope to be able to attend and cover more in the future. From what I've seen and experienced, the organizers put together a great event. I also enjoy the camaraderie amongst the drivers and crew.
Though everyone is out to compete against each other, there is still a sense of mutual friendship and respect for each other.
With over 40 drivers competing in round one, the battle to qualify was an intense one. Results of the
